As part of the University’s anniversary celebration, Chancellor’s Public Lecture and the Launch of KsTU History Book Kumasi were held at the university’s Great Hall. Among the dignitaries present were the Chancellor of the university Dr. Kwame Addo Kufour, Vice-chancellor Professor Gabriel Dwomoh, Special Guest of Honor Akyamfoↄ Asafo Boakye Agyemang-Bonsu (Asanteman Akwamuhene/Asafohene), Oheneba Owusu Afriyie (Apagyahene) and the Main Speaker Dr. Daniel Mckorley, Professor Ernest Kofi Abotsi is the Dean of the UPSA Law School and an Associate Professor of law among others.
Citation being presented to Dr. Daniel Mckorley and Prof Ernest Kofi Abotsi respectively.
Following the launching of the history book by the Chancellor, Akyamfoↄ purchased the first auctioned copy of the book for GHS 20,000.00 for His Royal Majesty Otumfoↄ Osei Tutu.
The occasion was by exhibition where student of the Technical University showcased their innovative, technical and technological projects.
