Christian Service University Kumasi Delegation Presents Scholarship Scheme to Asafo Community

Kumasi, Ghana – A high-level delegation from Christian Service University College (CSUC), led by its Vice Chancellor Prof. Samuel Kofi Afrane, presented a scholarship scheme to the Asafo community in Kumasi on 1st July, 2025. The initiative was received by Akyamfoↄ Asafo Boakye Agyemang-Bonsu and other community leaders as part of the university’s commitment to fostering education and community development.

During the presentation, the Vice Chancellor emphasized CSUC’s dedication to empowering youth through accessible education. The scholarship scheme is designed to support bright but needy students from Asafo and surrounding areas, enabling them to pursue higher education at the university.

Akyamfo, on behalf of the community, expressed gratitude for the initiative, calling it a “transformational opportunity” for the youth. He commended CSUC for its role in bridging the gap between academia and community development, urging beneficiaries to take full advantage of the offer.

This outreach aligns with CSUC’s mission of service, excellence, and Christian values, reinforcing its impact beyond the campus. Further details on eligibility and application processes will be released soon in collaboration with the Asafo Traditional Council.
