In a first-ever gesture by an Asafohene cum Akwamuhene, Akyamfoͻ Asafo Boakye Agyemang-Bonsu on Wednesday, 3rd of November, 2021 through to 12th November, 2021 embarked on a tour of the various towns under his jurisdiction (Akwamu Divisional Council). The four-day programme saw Akyamfoͻ engaging with the Adikrofoͻ, leaders and stakeholders of the various towns and communities, on what were the challenges of their respective communities. Amongst the towns visited were Apampatia, Darko, Setiase, Afra Tia, Afra Saa, Brofoyedu, Nkoransa, Tabere, Bebu, Dumakwae, Adumasa, and Ampabame No. 2.
All of the aforementioned towns either individually or in unison with other neighboring communities held grand durbars in reception of Akyamfoͻ, where residents and stakeholders were afforded the opportunity of expressing their concerns and worries to him and the various Local Government representatives including the District Chief Executive Officer of the Atwima Kwanwoma District, Hon. Prince Karikari, and other Assembly members.
